Introducing Kimberley (she/her): A Beacon of Double Happiness, Sparkling Across Dance, Acting, and Song

Meet Kimberley, a multifaceted artist who embodies the very essence of "double happiness." With her effervescent presence, she shines as a actress, singer, dancer and choreographer. Her journey through the realms of dance and musical theatre has led her to not only attain an undergraduate degree in theatre arts in 2016 but also to achieve a master's in performance practices in 2019.​

The year 2019 marked a turning point for Kimberley's creativity. She brought her talent to the forefront with two stage productions that delved into the narratives of the black matriarch and the significance of afro hair.

Venturing into uncharted waters in 2021, Kimberley joined STRUT, a heels Company founded by the gifted Shanelle Clemenson. She also became part of M/Body, a Musical theatre company founded by world-renowned choreographer Matthew Lambden.

Presently, Kimberley's journey, adorned with double happiness and a sparkling spirit, continues as she fervently pursues a career in Musical theatre. Her reach extends even into the realm of music videos, where her collaboration with Bentley Jones has allowed her to channel her performing artistry through the lens.

Drawing inspiration from personal narratives, black culture, and the compelling drive to articulate her voice through art, Kimberley has captured the attention of the performing arts community. Her remarkable choreography work with Derby Theatre showcases her exceptional prowess, captivating and intriguing audiences. In response to the success of Wonderboy, written by Ross Willis and directed by Sally Cookson. 2024 presents Kimberley with exciting new opportunities to demonstrate her skills in a fresh stage production.
